The Idea origin story
Our idea at Aeronovis is to encourage sustainability by providing businesses with robust renewable energy solutions.
We leverage small vertical axis wind turbines
(S-VAWT) to generate energy locally, thus reducing dependence on public grids. With a fixed and hence budgetable price for the lifetime (25 years) of our urban wind turbines, we ensure that our solution is not only eco-friendly but also cost-effective compared to the public grid supply, promoting an environment of self-sufficiency and self-consumption.

The urban wind turbines
Small Vertical Axis Wind Turbines (S-VAWT)

Our vision
Aeronovis targets to be the top of the mind supplier for urban wind turbines to agricultural, e-mobility, industrial, commercial and public entities.
Our Mission
At Aeronovis, we drive
sustainability with reliable
renewables through urban wind turbines, fostering self-sufficiency
and cost-effectiveness for our clients.

Problems we solve
Customers’ problems
Political intention and demand on local, regional, national and EU levels to maximize the production of renewable energy and to attain the goal of “0-Use” of fossil energy.
High electricity prices, difficult to budget. Our target customers are actively seeking practical, cost-efficient solutions.
Insufficient local power production and constantly increasing needs.
Confirmation of the problem
The actuality of the problem is confirmed by the
fact that energy demands are increasing while
sustainable local production remains insufficient.
Our solution focuses on robustness, efficiency, predictive monitoring, and competitive fixed pricing for 25 years, supporting the global shift from fossil fuels. This addresses industries' needs for reliable, budgetable, self-produced, and cost-effective renewable energy.
Our
solution
Our
technologies
This solution is based on technologies
Our rotor profiles were aerodynamically optimized in a wind channel and in intensive and highly detailed simulations. Our urban wind turbines use IoT-Technology for global monitoring of the key parameters on a continuous basis and allows predictive problem recognition coupled with powerful data analytics software. ERP-Technology coordinates required technical interventions, based on the messages of our IoT-Technology, with our technical partner network in order to minimize downtime.

Energy production independent from the wind direction up to 90 km/h and at any site onshore. Our innovative and European wide patented (patent filed 08/24) control concept allows to harvest at least 98% of the available wind potential at the installation site. In times of gusty winds, Aeronovis wind turbines produce, in addition to electricity, also heat (up to 315 kW at max. 190°C) that can be used to heat up water or buildings.
How it works

We offer affordable,
budgetable green energy,
boosting the ESG ratings
and the image of companies.
Our solution supports e-mobility due to renewable power sources.
Team
Founder and project leader:
I coordinate the external service providers and hardware suppliers, find solutions to problems, and assist the other team members.
My future key role in the project
My name is
Frank Diederich

Our team of four covers all key functions, and we have a cumulated work experience of 100+ years. We’ve successfully completed the development phase and validated the product in relevant environment (TRL 5); onward to prototype preparation!
Prototype installed T4/2025.
Team size and key members
We've spent the last two years in designing and optimizing our wind turbine structure through wind channel tests and professional simulations. In parallel, we’ve been developing detailed component drawings. We've written ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 documents and are near CE certification completion for EU sales, identified suppliers and installation partners, and received key drive-train parts.
The next phase comprises a fully functional and certified prototype and contractually commitment of 10 initial customers.
Moreover, an international marketing strategy is designed and we will be delighted to have our first independent sales partners on board.
Our progress
Business model
We generate revenue from selling, later also from leasing and contracting wind turbines with design choices and options. We also provide a 25-year maintenance contract and optional insurance packages.

With more than 98% of the wind potential onshore transformed in power, we offer an efficient own production of renewable energy at a budgetable price for 25 years.
Our innovative robust construction minimizes downtime and can be installed in coastal areas.
IoT-Technology ensures constant monitoring to prevent issues proactively making our system globally accessible and reliable.
Circular economy applies, as our wind turbines only consist of steel, aluminum and copper.
